Lo Duca Cabernet Sauvignon is a Northern Italian IGT wine from Veneto. Grown in the foothills of the Italian Alps. 3 months in Italian Oak, 4 months maturation in steel before that.
When we think of Pinot Noir, we don't usually think of Italian wine; or vice versa. Vignerons willing to grow delicate wine such as Pinot Noir in a land so impervious and historically linked to white wines, but they are doing a wonderful job here in Veneto, Italy. Our Italian Alps along with the Adige Valley with perfect exposure to sunlight. The climatic variance between day and night typical of this region offers the perfect conditions for the cultivation.
Our Pinot Noir displays bright red cherry, blackberry and brown spice character to be savored. With its delightful bouquet and taste, our wine is the perfect compliment to Charcuterie, roasted poultry and red meats.
The Italian flowers planted in the vineyard serve as an early warning sign to any disruption that may be coming to the crop. This is called "coltura promiscua' or polyculture.
