Lo Duca Sangiovese Rubicone

Lo Duca Sangiovese of the Emilia Romagna region of Northern Italy is produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes.  It has an intense bouquet of dark fruits with a hint of spice.  This galant red wine comes from the Rubicone riverside within Italy's Northern Italian undiscovered treasured geography. 

Our Sangiovese is ruby red and with a wine grape variety that derives its name from the Latin Sanguis Jovis, 'The blood of Jupiter." From the delicate floral strawberry aromas of Montefalco Rosso to the intensely dark and tannic wines of Brunello di Montalcino, our Sangiovese wine has something for everyone.  

12% alcohol by volume. A medium body with round fruit and a smooth, dry finish.  This hearty, red wine captures the quintessence of the Sangiovese grape.  The history of Sangiovese goes back further than the Roman civilization itself.  Perfectly delicate wine that complements light pastas and meat dishes.
